Hi Coach!

I had bought a new bat ( timo boll 1000) .It has a nice spin. It is too hard for me to play any stroke. I am not able to control it's speed, spin. After a week, my T.T tournament will be started and my opponents whom I had defeated in previous tournament had challenged me again. therefore,I request you to tell me some practice drills so that I can easily restore all my powers in this new bat.

Hi Haris,

THis is a problem of buying something that is too fast.  You lose control very easily.

For now what you should do, is play a lot of consistent rallies.  For the next week, jus hit a lot of balls on the table slowly.  Try to do 500 hits in a row with forehand and then backhand and so on.  This will develop our touch of the new bat.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
