Hi Ping Ping

Can I play table tennis in match with eyeglasses? Because my eyes are minus. If can't, how to play witthout wearing eyeglasses?

Hi Edo,

You certainly can play with glasses.  Some players do that or osme try contact lenses.  Luckily I have not had to do this.  Someone that has played with glasses may have more advice for you.

Of course you can play with glasses.  I know someone who has minimal prescription and could very well play without glasse but still chooses to play with glasses because he feels more confident standing up to smashes knowing his eyes are protected!  It also depends on what kind of glasses you have.  Mine are frameless, and I find the first violent stroke I attempt the glasses tend to go crooked on my face.  However, in the past, I had sturdy framed glasses and never had that problem. 

Other problems with glasses are that they fog up (but you can use special cleaning solutions that stop this from happening) and also they don't give you the same peripheral vision as contacts.  The trouble with contacts I find is if my sweat gets into my eyes, my eyes get really really red.
