Hello everybody
During playing I sweat much and my hands get really wet so that the balls get quite damp, if I take them into my hands. Trying to dry them with my T-Shirt doesn't work, I'm just smearing it all around and after 6 played points I go to my towel, but that's too rare.
What can I do?
Greets!
Hi Steve,
Initially before a match try to cool your hands by running cold water over them. This will work for the first game or so.
After that try to keep your hands as cool as possible by blowing air on them.
If your hands are getting really sweaty it is OK to ask the umpire for permission to wipe your hands more often that every 6 points. As long as you are not using this to advantage this should be permitted by the umpire as it will effect the game if you don't wipe your hands.

I have same problem and I was wondering if talcum powder would work? I've tried baby powder (it was readily available) and it worked a bit although it doesn't last an entire game.
What about the powder the gymnasts use on their palms?
