HI Coach, I am a beginner at ping pong and i can't really improve because i do not have a table and it is really hard for me to find a club in Philadelphia. Any suggestion on what i can do?

Hi CR,

Get your bat out and hit the ball as oftenas you can on any type of surface.  Use a kitchen table or just hit the ball up in the air consistently.  Hit the ball against the wall often.  All these things will help to develop control of the ball.

You can get th eball and develop the amount of spin you can generate by getting the ball to curve as much as possible on the floor or getting the ball to come back towards you.

Of course having a table is a better way to improve, but if you don't have one just do whatever you can.
