I have several bats I use for practice and they have different rubber than my "good" bat I use for tournaments and round robin club events. It seems like using the same bat and rubber for practice and tournaments is the best option but does it really make that big of a difference?
cheers
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
It is important to practice with the same or very similar bat to the one you are using in competition. It is too difficult to make subtle changes in a match when you start using different bat.
Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
