Hi PingSkills

I wanted to ask, what if i practice with the people that are play just for fun and don't learn any stroke and just hit the ball on the table ? is it affective to improve my skill or is it useless and it's better to play with them that are also play for serious and had learned the stroke correctly ?

if it's useful, what should i improve and practice when playing with this kind of player as i can't practice my long rally stroke...

please for the answer, thank you very much

Hi Frendy,

In the ideal world it would be great to practice with highly skilled players however the reality is that this isn't possible.

So if you are practising with less skills players try to find something that you can work on.  For example if they are inconsistent with where they hit the ball, then practice your reaction and watching of the ball.

There is always something that you can practice.

Perfecting the Push

This week's master class is called Perfecting the Push. To have a great push you need to first see how much backspin is on the ball as it is coming towards you. Then you need to alter your stroke to counter this backspin. You also need to concentrate on generating your own backspin to make it harder for you opponent.
