Hi Alois and Jeff,

I want to practice my service (pendulum, reverse pendulum, etc.) but I don't have my own table. I can only use the table of my neighbor if they are in the home. I don't have my own table now, but is there a way to practice my serve without a table? I am trying to practice it without a table but after several minutes of picking up the ball from the floor, it causes pain to my back. Do you have any suggestions coach? Thanks sealed

Hi Fetish,

Hitting it onto the floor is good.  You can also hit it onto a bed so that you don’t have to pick the ball up.  You can even use any other table you have at home to hit onto.  Place it up against a wall so that it hits the wall and comes back to you.  This will save the back pain.

Taking Risks

It's important that you assess your opponent's skill level and your own skill level. Using this information you can then decide how much risk you need to put into your game. If your opponent is a lot more consistent than you, you may need to go for a bit more on each of your shots to try and force an error.
