Equipment
Hi, im looking for a premade bat around 50 bucks. I have played a long time, like 8 years, but nothing competitive or like "career serious". I have always used cheap premade bats, but i have found, since ever, very hard to give a nice spin to the ball. I was looking if your recomended me one. I had my eyes placed in something like the killspin J400, the butterfly trebuchet or someting like that. I come here for some help and direction, since im pretty much lost.
Thank you
Hi Frederix,
Both of those suggestions would be OK as a next step. The rubber quality is always the most important thing. I haven't used the Killerspin bat so I am not sure of the rubber quality. The Butterfly bat has Flextra rubber which is a reasonable rubber that will give you reasonable spin and good control.
If you want the next step up you can think about the PingSkills Rook as well.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
