Serving
I realized that my bat has adequate spin ability to do a serve like the ma lin. But the thing is that I cant get the high toss right most of the times, the ball goes all over the place and on the times I get it where I want, i cant coordinate that to hit my bat in the right spot, or at all many times. Kindly help with this.
Hi Dhruv,
This is a skill that you can practice. Practice throwing the ball up without hitting it.
Start by placing a piece of paper on the floor in front of you. Then throw the ball up and let it land on the floor. See if you can get it to land on the piece of paper consistently.
Once you can do this, then you can start to try and contact the ball with your bat on the way down. You could try even just catching the ball with your playing hand.
With a bit of practice, you will get this right.
