Everytime my opponent serve a short topside spin ball, and i pushes it, the ball went up high. Hence my opponent can smashes the ball easily. Should i angle my paddle down or up? Please help me.

Thanks

Hi Khang,

You should angle your bat down more to get the ball lower.  You could even try to flick the return which is easier on the topspin serves to come over the ball. Take a look at our lesson on the Forehand Flick.
