Quick bounce serve

Serving

Hello Alois and Jeff,

watching professionals serving,I noticed that there is often a very little time difference between the first and second bounce (short serve) or my side bounce and opponent side bounce (long serve).
In my case, however,it seems like the ball has experienced a giant slowdown when it raises from the first of mentioned bounce, regardless of spin or speed. It seems like my opponent has always too much time to adjust when I try to vary the serves.
What can be possible cause of the fact that my serves need so much time to make the final land despite them missing the net only barely?

Thanks
DK

I have watched, but although I fully understand the concept of spin,it still does not seem to answer my question.
Said simply,my serve,for example a short backspin serve,lands

1)bounce-right behind the net. This is a low bounce
2)bounce-comes after loooooong time, and causes the ball to return. This is a high bounce.
