Racket Advice Intermediate Player - Butterfly vs. Stiga vs. KillerSpin

Equipment

Hello, I have been playing for a year with a recreational racket and then a Donic 400 (maybe recreational too?) and now I think it is time to level up. I have spent hours looking for information and watching videos (including most of yours, thanks for that :). Have tested an old DHS Hurricane III which was pretty cool. Considered also a Butterfly Timo Boll Spirit or W5, Stiga Allround Classic or KillerSpin Jet600.

I like to play pretty offensive (top spin shots) and am looking for spin and control. Don't mind spending a bit more to get a better racket. I know rubber matters a lot, but I cannot imagine building it my self (yet I could get it built for me).

Would you have any recommendation based on this? I would really appreciate your insight! Again, thanks a lot!

Cheers, Diego

Hi Diego,

They are all good options. You can't go too far wrong if you choose one of those.

You can also consider the PingSkills Rook or PingSkills Touch with Mark V.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
