Strokes
How to counter a top spin which has immense friction on it than force?
Hi,
This can be really difficult shot. You need to push forward on the ball and really go over the contact of the shot to make sure you are not lifting it over the table. It is difficult because you need to deal with the amount of topspin. The slower speed also means that the ball will go more up off your bat because it doesn't bounce forward naturally.
Take a look at the lesson we have on how to Counter a Slow Spinny Topspin.
