Hello,

I was wondering , if it is possible to return a sidespin serve, without causing the ball to pop out of direction. When i change the angle of my bat, i get the ball on the table , but the ball pops out to the right or left.

Is there no way i can return the ball , in the direction that i want it to?

Hi Christian,

You can put it in the direction you want by having a more direct or firmer contact.  If you just allow th ball to hit your bat it will tend to spin off more.  By contacting the ball more firmly it will go in the direction you want it to.  You still need to adjust the angle of your racket as well.

So what i should do is try to increase the speed and power of the contact between bat and ball?
