Remembering to stay low

Hi alois because I am quite I need to stay quite low in order for my shots to be consistent and powerful. But when I am playing I forget to stay low and stand up straight and it's not due to tiredness either. Any ideas on remembering to stay lo

Hi Tam,

You can try a couple of things.

You can introduce a physical reminder such as someone holding an object above your head.  Make sure it is soft... So that each time you stand up your head touches the object.

There are also resistance bands that a Tennis uses which may help. Take a look at this one

For me it works when i recognize the exact moments i straighten up. Those are always the same and i tended to stay lazy afterwards not going down again.

No matter what the cause is i have also a thing how i trick myself through the ready position. I simply assigned to the ready position for myself, as a part of it, the low stance.

I think shadow practice might be helpful. Not being distracted by the ball, it is easier to remind yourself to stay low.
