Hi coach I need to know how to attack heavy topspin sidespin on my forehand side but the ball curves to my left and when I return it it goes out of the table to my right.

Hi Michael,

You need to allow for the spin with the angle of your racket.  If you face your racket more to the left this will counteract the sidespin on the ball.  You use the same stroke just adjust the angle of your racket.

Because you are standing more on the side of the table you may need to adjust the angle more.  It is always important to keep it simple to start with.  Don't try to do too much with the return.  Just allow the angle of your racket to do the work for you.

Thanks Alois it worked like a charm but he started serving a heavy top spin with little sidespin I could return it by closed angle racket but I need to know if I can return it with a top spin?

If the serve is long enough you can definitely return it with a topspin.
