Hi Reno,

The best way to return it is to just block the ball back.  The ball will already have topspin on it so you don't need to lift it just hit through.

Fake Movements

After the ball has left the server's bat, they can no longer affect the spin that is on the ball. Any movements after the contact are referred to as fake movements and are meant to confuse you as the receiver. You need to focus on the contact to read the spin.

The ball may swing a bit , so it would be good to curve the racket with the swing and then a slight push if needed

Don't try to curve the swing though because you will start to play across the line of the ball.  It s better to just push straight through the line of the ball and use the angle of your racket to counter the spin.
