The person i play against has a heavy backspin serve, can you tell me what is the best way to return this type of serve?

Hi Peter,

If the serve is long the best thing is to make a topspin.  Use the technique described in our lesson on the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin.  If the serve is short then you can use the Push.

We also have a lot of other advice for you in our lessons contained in our Receiving Secrets course.
