Hi Alois and Jeff,

My friend gives me a heavy low and short sidespin serve. Whenever i return it, ball goes a little high and he smashes it. What can i do to it?

Hi Harisrishnan,

You need to watch closely how the ball reacts off your bat. This will help you to learn what type of spin was on the ball. As you say the ball is going high, you need to aim a little lower. You can do this by closing the angle of your bat or by coming down more on the ball.

Also as I mentioned in your previous question, try watching our video keeping the ball low as it has some practical advice that you can implement in order to improve the height of your return.
