Equipment
I bought a premade butterfly racket 802 for cheap on facebook marketplace, but I'm wondering if I can take off the rubbers and reuse the bat later in it's life. It says that I shouldn't because the glue is supposed to be permanent, but is that just a deterrence or is it actually impossible?
Hi Ben,
I haven't seen that racket in particular but it does look like a racket that you will be able to change the rubber on.
Try to gently peel the rubber up from one edge and see if it comes off easily or not.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
