Equipment
Hi Alois & Jeff, the title pretty much sums up this question... But is the Pingskills Touch with Mark 5 Just as beginner friendly as the Rook? I'm still not sure which one to get seeing that there is a big price difference... Could you guys help?
Hi Collin,
The Rook is good as a first bat. It will allow you to develop your strokes to a good basic level.
The Touch with Mark V has a lot more scope. It will still give you reasonable control but you will be able to change the rubber on it once the initial rubber is worn or you outgrow it with speed. If you can afford it, go for the Touch with Mark V.

Another quick question... Which rubber for the Touch (Mark V, Pryde, and Xiom Vega Pro) has the best controll and spin? (I'm wanting a little more controll than spin) because i find my forehand topspin strokes are very slow and spinny but somtimes i lack controll... Thanks (i think i'm going for the touch!!! :D)

Hi Collin,
The Mark V has the most control and least spin. Pryde is the middle of the road and the Vega Pro is the fastest with most spin.

One more question, I'm not sure which rubber to go for because my forehand is pretty good and i mostly loop attack with my forehand BUT my backhand is quite bad and needs practice. So would it be a good idea to put Mark V on the backhand and then Pryde on the forehand?
Thanks in advance :D

That is a good combination.
