RPB Backhand Counterhit

Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble with my reverse penhold counterhit. It seems there's way too much side spin on it for a counterhit. and how hard i try, i can't get to cut it down. Could you please put up a video doing the reverse counterhit and also the loops???

Hi Sandesh,

This is one of the hardest parts of the RPB.

It is a matter of getting the angle of the bat right.  This can be done by changing the finger position of your grip.  It is difficult to do it all with the wrist and arm.

I like to sometimes play penhold for the fun of it, I've found out that if I instead of wrap my thumb and finger around the handle, just move them away from the handle as the grip, that helps getting me more wrist freedom for the RPB.
