Rubber Thickness tips

Hi Alois, I am looking for rubbers on aussietabletennis.com.

I am new to buying blades and rubbers seperately. I was going to purchase the Yasaka Mark V rubbers until the site wanted me to choose the thickness of the rubber. My previous racket had a 2mm sponge with 1.8mm rubber. Have you got any tips on thickness and which thicknesses will improve my performance (I'm an offensive player)?

Hi Kon,

The thickness on the Aussie Table Tennis site refers to the thickness of the sponge.  The thicker the sponge the faster and more offensive the rubber tends to be.

Unless you are a very experienced palyer, I wouldn't go for Maximum, I would go for the 2mm or perhaps 1.8mm.

Hope this helps.
