How to do the reverse pendulum serve
Hi Miko,
The principles of the reverse pendulum serve are to start with your bat facing in towards you. From here you push your bat out and finish with the edge of your bat pointing at the far net post.
The contact needs to be a brushing contact. Make sure you are pushing forward at the ball. When people try this first they often miss the ball by going behind it.
At PingSkills we have a DVD called Serving Secrets Revealed that will help you out with this. In it we detail the steps to learning the Reverse Pendulum serve as well as many others. Get yourself a copy and you will improve your serves.
