Hi Patrick,
To get a 3rd ball attack first you need to work on your serving. The serve is what sets this up. By improving serves, you will get easier returns because your opponent won't be able to control the ball to whee they want it to go.
Often a topspin serve or a variation of spin on the serve will create a higher return which is ideal for attacking. We have a lesson on this in our Master Classes titled
