Serving

Good morning Alois or Jeff.  Have had a good look at the Serve Placement video , and WTT matches.  Regarding the placement of the string, is that half way? I have noticed first bounce is approximately short of halfway, but not too short. Practising my serves following your recent email advice, and want to make sure I am working on correct landing spot, as will be using flying rings.  Thank you, Philip

Hi Philip,

Yes get the ball to land short of half way.  How deep you get the ball to land depends on what type of serve you are aiming to do.  A lot of the better players don't land the ball too short because their opponents can attack so well with the Backhand flick.
