Hi Alois.

What is the spin on the ball from a server using long pimples, short pimples and antipower. Hence, the best way to deal with each of the serves.

Thanks. Cheers Alena

Hi Alena,

Usually with Long pimples and antipower rubber there will be little to no spin on the ball from the serve.  If they are long try to attack it with topspin and if it is short a flick would be a good option.  As long as you start to realise the spin on the ball then you will be able to adjust your return appropriately.

WIth the short pimples, there can be spin on the ball.  It will not be as mush spin as from a quality inverted rubber but there can still be spin.  Again adjust to the amount of spin on the ball when making your return.
