Serving
Hi Alois,
I am having problems in placing the ball further away from the net in my sidespin pendulum serve for a short serve resulting in me mostly not getting the ball over the net or just hitting the net so I have to repeat the serve. Please can you help me in this and also can you please tell me whether the sidespin pendulum serve is better fast or slow and spinny?
Hi Basel,
Try putting a target on the table that you can aim at. If the ball is going too short then you can contact the ball a bit flatter. This will get the ball further.
You can serve this serve both short and long depending on the opponent. Try both the short and long serve to your opponent and see which one works best against them.
