Hi there Pingskillers,

I have created my own variation of the shakehand grip and I find that it suits me quite well and I have no problem. Conversely, I seem to have problem with the proper shkehand grip ddescribed in your videos and seem to lose points when I try it. Should I carry on with my own grip or change to shakehand grip?

Hi Oliver,

The shakehand grip the way we show it is the best way to do it.  You can have slight variations of it.  The grip has been developed over time to find the best way to develop your strokes.

Your grip depends on whether it still has the right basics.
