short pimples

hallo

now i try to play with short pimples on my backhand: power dragon, 1,8, from palio.

block and counter are excellent and fast - but attacking against underspin is a problem.

is there any video about short pimples? (sorry for my poor english)

Hi Rudi,

This is one of the difficulties of short pimples. You lose the ability to generate as much topspin. You can still do it though, it is just a bit more difficult.

Open the face of your bat up a little more to allow for the lack of lift with the pimples.

We don;t have a lesson on playing with short pimples at the moment, but we will add it to our list of requests.
