Hello PingSkills Team,
I watched your video regarding Ace serve and Jeff's fastest serve. Could you make some tutorial or something on that serve? I would like to have serves of such speed while varying spins as my main serving style.
Thanks
DK
Hi DK,
Interesting idea, we'll have a think about whether it's good to make a tutorial on that serve. The reason I don't immediately think it's a great idea is that serving so fast is a risky proposition, and in table tennis as soon as you serve a fault you lose the point. So I don't think it's a very good strategy to try and serve as fast as you possibly can since you'll give away more points than you will gain.

Ok,I understand.
I was just trying to find a way how to serve in a way that prevents both push and block.
This does not seem to be the way regardless.
I only want to use long, speedy, spinny serves as my main serving strategy (similar to how He Zhi Wen serves) and use short serves only as a surprise variation as there is nearly no way how to return a short serve in a way that is comfortable for me.

Here's a good video on developing a fast serve down the line.

Yea,I have seen this one and I train using it.
I got to the point where I can pretty well hit the exercise book or what is that thing Alois aims for, when it is on the floor behind the table.
But I am unable to hit the ball on it when it si on the table without making the serve high or very slow.
