hey im tryng an trying to make the side spin serve but i nerve can make it can you make a video just for that plzz

hi Alois,

I bought your DVD (actually online download) i got it right away. it is great! i'm now beating guys easily which i had trouble playing with before. i have a feeling sometimes that it's an unfair advantage because now it's just an easy point scored after i serve or the returns are so easy i can smash them. (mixing up with back/top spins using the pendulum serve)

one question on the side spin serve. on the clock face, with 12 facing the net, i've been hitting the ball on 9 side (3 for reverse pendulum) but on the videos you seem to be hitting them at about 6..is it correct or my clockface orientation is wrong? i see the effect of the ball when it hits my opponents bat but i want the ball to curve like you do on the videos. i'm wondering i might be doing something wrong. thanks.

hi, i think you just need to go for a thinner and faster contact to get more spin. sounds like you are doing it correctly just concentrate on really brushing the side fast but just nicking the edge of the ball. give that a try.

Ok thanks! Our tournament here at work just ended. I finished 2nd on individuals and the new serves really helped me a lot. It was a short tournament with single round eliminations (you lose you're out). I lost to a chinese lady who i heard was a college player and played in china as well. She was pretty good and just looking at her strokes she is well trained and very good fundamentals. She said my serves aren't that spinny but had a hard time returning them. I could have given her a better match had i read and returned her serves better. I only had the serving secrets revealed DVD for about 2 weeks before the tournament. So with more time and training i can improve my serves (heavier spin)/game more for next tournaments to come.
