Slow and heavy sidespin serve

Receiving

I'm having a very difficult time returning a very slow and heavy sidespin (spinning left and to my forehand when receiving). I'm using medium pips on my FH and short pips on my BH. When I try to hit through the ball or even open up my bat and try to block with my FH, most of the time the ball goes out to the right. It actually pops up to the right. I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you.

Hi Eric,

Try to turn your racket more to the left but you do still need to hit through the ball forward with the medium pimples.

This slow sidespin is an awkward ball to hit with the long pimples.
