smashing a chop

my partner has a a yasaka mark 5 and chops the ball high but when i smash it ,it meets the net

Hi Nsri,

The backspin on  the ball is dragging the ball into the net.  You need to allow for the backspin.  Open the angle of your bat while you are making the stroke.
