Hi,

I think I put this question in the contact us section before by mistake so I'm putting it here just in case.

I've been thinking of switching to Hurricane 2 rubber because it is cheaper than Mark V so I will be able to change it more often.  Most of the reviews that I have read online about this rubber said that it was great once they softened the sponge a bit.  So I looked up how to soften sponge.  Apparently I have to reglue it.  Does this meant that i put more layers on before I glue it, glue it on the blade and then take it off and glue it again, or glue it on the blade and play with it for a bit before reglueing it.

Thanks!

Hi Chip,

You could try taking it off and regluing it making sure you are using a water based glue.  The problem with many of the water based glues is that they stick quite strong so it is difficult to remove the rubber from the blade.

The rubber will soften through a lot of play as well but it won't be as soft as Mark V.
