Strokes
Alois
I just finished a tournament and the next morning my tricep muscle was little sore. I am thinking that is from my forehand loop ending to abruptly, instead on being nice and relaxed and letting the end of the stroke be more smooth.
Please let me know if you think that is it or maybe something else.
Also my legs were not sore at all, I think that means I need to get lower.
any comments appreciated.
I reviewed my saved video lessons before the tournament and it was a nice refresher. I am glad your membership lets you save the lessons.
cheers
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
This is very very common. In fact I can't remember playing a tournament where my tricep wasn't sore after it.
It comes from the stopping of the stroke and also the little bit of tension that a tournament brings.
You can improve this with Strength and Conditioning training. The main thing to work on is the stopping at the end of the forehand swing rather than the acceleration.
Glad you are still enjoying the benefits of your Premium membership.
