Hi Alois
There is a direct relation between the ability of the rubber to impart spin and that is often one of the manufacturer specified characteristics. Does the sponge hardness affect the ability to impart the spin on the ball?
Thank you
Milan
Hi Milan,
The rating that the manufacturer gives is a rating for the rubber as a whole. That means the rubber and the sponge.
The harder rubber means the ball doesn't sink into the rubbe ras much. They are best with tacky rubbers.

First of all, I want to thank you, for having this great job done. I have collect many things from here.
Now about ruber and sponge thickness.
The manufacturer scaling it, if I'm not mistaken from 400 to 1200. I have been told that I'm an avarage player (not bad, not good) in one word can do almost everything that you have in your lessons.
So which rocket would you suggest for me .
Thank you one more time.
