Hi Frendy,

If they are using normal rubber it will come back to you with a little backspin.  If they are using long pimples then it will come back with topspin.

how it can be backspin if it's normal rubber ?
and also for the topspin right ? if i topspining them and they return it why no spin, is it backspin on my side ? as if i topspin the ball at the wall, the ball go back to the wall...

just wanted to know so i know what angle and stroke should I use

thank you :D

When you serve with backspin and they angle their bat to return it, the ball will grip into their rubber a little and come back with a bit of backspin. Alois didn't mention no spin against topspin?? However when someone blocks the ball with normal rubber it will come back to you with a bit of topspin. This is the opposite of if you topspin into a wall. The wall doesn't have any grip and the ball keeps it's original spin and comes back with backspin to you. This is more like the effect of long pimples.

The short pimple will flatten out the spin slightly.  It is illegal to use just wood but it will have a similar effect to anti spin.
