What does it mean when you have a 1.9mm sponge?  What difference will it make to a 2.2mm sponge?  Or no sponge?

Thank you!

Hi RJ,

The thicker the sponge the faster and more spin you will be able to get with the rubber.  The thinner sponges give you better control.
