I am going to build a racket with tibhar triple carbon blade, tibhar aurus on fh. And kinda confused for my bh rubber in between the above two!!

So i was going to have genesis on fh and mark v m2 on bh, but a friend of mine said, dont be so dumb:) neither genesis nor m2 will give you that killing speed on the forehand attack:)

He recomended me aurus on fh and to choose between genesis and m2 on bh.

Help me out please:)

Hi Muhammad,

It sounds like you're putting together a pretty solid setup. Choosing the right rubber for your backhand can make a difference in your game. Both the Stiga Genesis and the Yasaka Mark V M2 are excellent choices, but they do have different characteristics that might suit different styles of play.

Stiga Genesis is a rubber that combines the classic tacky top sheet of Chinese rubbers with the elastic sponge of European rubbers. This hybrid design offers a good balance of spin and speed, with a slightly harder feel which can be great for players who like to play a powerful game from mid-distance. It also provides excellent control for blocking and countering close to the table.

Yasaka Mark V M2, on the other hand, is a bit faster and less tacky compared to the Genesis. It's an upgrade from the classic Mark V with a harder sponge that aims to offer more speed without losing too much in terms of control. This rubber can be very effective for players who rely on quick, precise hits and enjoy playing a fast-paced, aggressive game.

Given that you've already chosen the Tibhar Aurus for your forehand, which is known for its speed and spin potential, pairing it with a rubber that offers great control and stability on the backhand might be a wise choice. If your play style on the backhand is more about control and spin rather than outright speed, the Stiga Genesis might be the better option. It will give you the ability to generate spin easily while still maintaining good control over the ball.

If you prefer a quicker, more direct style on your backhand, then the Yasaka Mark V M2 could be the way to go. It will complement the high-speed attacks from your forehand with Tibhar Aurus, allowing for a balanced but aggressive game.

Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal style and what you feel most comfortable with during play. If possible, try hitting with both rubbers if you have the chance before making your decision, as this will give you the best insight into what suits your game best.
