Sorry to ask you a question again Pingskills you were really helpful before. I just wondered which strokes and techniques I should try to learn before starting the 52 week training plan. Thank you.

Hi Matthew,
Work on the Forehand Counterhit, Backhand Counterhit, Backhand Push, Forehand Push and Forehand Topspin Against Block. These will allow you to progress through the training plan well.
In this video we show you a simple trick to improve your strokes by making them more economical. You'll notice increased power for less effort. When you tense your muscles too much you actually get less power and become more tired. However when you relax the opposite happens. It's why all the best players look like they are hitting the ball so hard without much effort.
