Hi coach,

I sometimes find that in matches when i play my bh and fh alternatively or randomly  i tend do struggle a lot. I'm not a full out offensive player but like to control the ball with bh and fh.

How do i practise on this-

PS i tried the Bh and Fh footwork drill and it works. But any others?

Thanks

Hi Mat,

Any switching drills will help this.  Take a look through the free download we have of Training Drills.  Try a variation of these to help you to make the changes.

#33 - Defending with the Block

One thing you can be sure of is that every top player will be able to keep the ball on the table with a solid block when under pressure. It seems that this is a pre-requisite to becoming a good player. That's why in this training session we focus on improving your block. If you can absorb your opponent's attack you will be in a good position to win a match against them.
