Switching pre-assembled to custom

Equipment

I have been using pre-assembled rackets since i started playing TT, for 4-5 years. I feel like i have to upgrade my equipment. My latest bat was Stiga evolution. You can say that i'm an agressive player, but i don't fancy speed. Can you recommend me a blade (i'm thinking all round or off-) and rubber(i have read that butterfly sriver or Yasaka mark V is good, but they say it doesn't help you to master the technique) combination that would help me step up my game.

You have been very helpful with all the videos, your advice would be much appreciated. Wish you the best. Cheers.

Hi Abdullah,

I would go for an all-round racket with Mark V.  It is good to use to develop your technique.

We have the PingSkills Touch that you can get with Mark V.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
