Serve Toss

Dear Alois, I play in my school and outside with a TT player who keeps changing his grip. His serve is fast and it seems that he is not tossing the ball the required height. Because of this, it is hard for me to read the ball although I am adapting. Also, if I complain, he just claims that he has tossed the ball properly. What should I do?

Thanks,

Bala

Hi Bala,

You may want to video his serve and have a look how high he is throwing it up.

You can ask the other players to watch and see if he is throwing it up the required height as well.
