Table trouble

While putting together my table tennis table my dad accidentally drilled too far leaving bumps that can affect play. some paint has also come off. Is there any way to fix this or will i have to get a new table?

Ooooops!

It is probably only a small patch on the table so don't worry about it too much.  You could try asking a handy person if they can sand the wood down but I think that would affect the bounce more and make the table look worse.
