Hi since coming back from a 2 week holiday my table tennis has been absolutely shocking. I've played for maybe 14-16 hours by now i expect to be fully back to normal but i just cant get back into to the groove. My strokes are the same but i feel really weak(usually powerful from both sides) and very flat(struggling to produce heavy topspin) also struggling to move despite a lot of footwork drills. Please help got upcoming tournaments.

Thanks a Bunch

Hi Ker,

Go down a level.  Hit the ball slowly and consistently.  Your physical ability doesn't go backwards that quickly.  So then it is your mental preparation that you can work on.

It may be that you are getting a bit anxious about the tournament.  Just keep working each training session and you will do your best.  Focus on consistency first and you will start to feel better about your game.
