This is really difficult! You really need to guess the right direction of the ball and then get your angle just right. You are better off to move back from the table and trying to lob the ball back. this will give you a bit more time.
The correct table tennis stance provides you with the foundation for power and movement. By keeping your feet wide apart and your knees bent you set yourself up for success. We also discuss where you should position yourself relative to the table.
