I've learned topspin thanks to your amazing videos on youtube but i dont know what to do when my topspin is blocked into the corner of the table. This makes my topspin ineffective. Please help.
Thanks.
Hi Mustafa,
You need to use your feet and get over to the corner. Just use a small shuffle step and move over and make another topspin stroke.
To practice this set up a drill where you are topspinning and your partner is placing the ball, one to the middle of the table and one to the forehand corner. Practice moving and hititng topspin shots of both balls.
Our new DVD "Training Secrets Revealed" will have this drill and lots more that you can practice.

playing blockers can be a big headache and a major challenge...in particular (in my experience) those blockers who really crowd the table and block aggressively off the bounce and use sharp angles.
If they block to your forehand corner, chances are they are trying to entice you to hit cross court (as you would do in that situation against most styles). But you should be very wary of getting into an angle rally against blockers since they are cutting off all the angles and you are running around like a highly caffeinated energiser bunny. So, of course use your footwork to get there as Alois said, and in addition, generally hit the ball back down the line to their backhand and try to vary the pace (they seem to have trouble if you throw in a few change ups).
I know Alois has a blog on playing defenders. Maybe he can do one up on playing blockers?
Cheers
