Strokes
Dear Coach Alois
I am finding difficult to do topspin loop against pimple rubbers, it usually gets into net
Is there some practice that I can do to improve on this
Thanks
Dear Swapnil,
I understand your frustration, and I can help you improve your topspin looping against pimple rubbers. The pimples will give you a return that feels more like backspin than topspin so you need to lift the ball more than you think initially. Swing more vertically to get that lift.
With time and practice, you will get a feel for the correct amount of lift and you will be hitting quality topspin loops against the pimple rubber. Good luck, and don't get discouraged!

The forehand counterhit or forehand drive is the foundation for more attacking strokes such as the forehand topspin or forehand loop. There are 3 critical factors:
If you concentrate on these 3 factors then your stroke will become extremely consistent. Once you can reliably hit 100 balls in a row then you are ready for more attacking strokes. If you can hit 1,000 balls on in a row then you know you've truly mastered the stroke.
