Strokes
i cannot hit topspins while playing a match to crush my opponent but i hit deadly topspins while practicing. Is this because of wrong action?
Hi Shaun,
In a match your shoulder will often tighten a little which will make a big difference to what happens to the ball.
So focus a little more on the tension in your shoulder and see what it feels like. Do this during practice and during a match and see if there is a difference.
The key is to countering a chop block is to ensure you wait for the ball as it comes through much slower compared to a normal block. You also need to lift the ball more than you would against a regular block.
